Applications Description

　　V519 is a broad-spectrum biocide that can quickly exert bactericidal effects. As a maintenance measure for biological control solutions, it is mainly applied in reverse osmosis systems troubled by biological contamination. The usage method is to add the agent once a week during normal operation. The frequency of addition can be determined after standardized research on system performance, considering the biological activity of the influent, effluent, and permeate.

Recommended Dosage

　　The dosage calculation can be made by multiplying the influent flow rate (in cubic meters/hour) by a factor of 8.

　　For example: Assuming the influent is 1 cubic meter/hour: 1 cubic meter/hour × 8 = 8 milliliters/minute.

　　8 milliliters/minute × 30 minutes = 240 milliliters per treatment.

　　If the system is calculated at 10 cubic meters/hour, the dosage required for 30 minutes is approximately 2.5 kilograms; increase the concentration if the situation is severe.

　　The dosing point should be before the raw water pump and after the raw water tank. V519 must be added in its original undiluted form to achieve the strongest effect. The timing of dosing should be chosen about 1 hour before the operator's shift ends, and the dosing time should be controlled within 30 to 40 minutes. After sterilization, discharge the concentrated brine from the equipment. When cleaning other sections, this cleaning solution should be drained and reconfigured. It is best to rinse with reverse osmosis permeate before the system is restarted.

　　Store in a ventilated, cool, and dry place; the shelf life at room temperature is 6 months.
