Performance and Applications

　　This product is a cationic surfactant, often compounded with 1227 and benzyl dimethyl hexadecyl ammonium chloride, with antibacterial effects superior to isothiazolinone products. At a dosage concentration of 5 mg/L, the bactericidal rate against heterotrophic bacteria is 98.5%, against iron bacteria is 95.5%, and against sulfate-reducing bacteria is 99.9%; at a dosage concentration of 10 mg/L, the bactericidal rate against heterotrophic bacteria is 99.9%, against iron bacteria is 99.0%, and against sulfate-reducing bacteria is 99.9%; at a dosage concentration of 20 mg/L, the bactericidal rate against heterotrophic bacteria is 99.9%, against iron bacteria is 99.6%, and against sulfate-reducing bacteria is 99.9%.

　　This product can be used as a substitute for 1227, suitable for disinfection of restaurant, brewing industry, food industry equipment, swimming pool sterilization and algae removal, as a leveling agent in the dyeing and finishing industry, and as an antistatic agent and softener in the paper, plastic, and textile industries.

　　For use in circulating cooling water treatment and oilfield reinjection water, it can be used alone or in combination, with a recommended dosage of 30 mg/L, and the dosage for algae removal can be doubled. For use in other industries, refer to the usage of the 1227 product.
