Performance and Applications

　　This product is a low pH liquid formulation used to remove biological and other organic and inorganic contaminants, calcium carbonate, and other types of scaling, with excellent effectiveness in removing biofilms. The pH of the diluted solution must be maintained at 2.5±0.5. Its excellent cleaning effect can extend the operating time of the membrane. The optimal dosage is 5%, which can also be adjusted according to the actual situation on site. This product is foaming, so the return line of the cleaning system should be below the liquid level of the cleaning tank.

Quality Indicators

Dilution

　　The usual dilution ratio is 4-6% of the total volume of the cleaning system; the entire system includes the cleaning tank, connecting pipes, filters, pressure vessels, and membranes.

Cleaning Instructions

　　Check the cleaning tank, hoses, and security filters. Inject reverse osmosis permeate or deionized water into the cleaning tank, slowly add the calculated dosage to the cleaning tank, and circulate the mixed solution with the cleaning pump, heating the mixed solution to the maximum temperature specified by the membrane manufacturer.

　　Circulate cleaning for 30 minutes according to the cleaning direction provided by the equipment supplier. The cleaning rate should follow the recommended values from the membrane manufacturer or system supplier. If contamination is severe, extend the cleaning time; please drain the initial backflow liquid (approximately 15% of the cleaning tank volume) to prevent contaminants from reattaching to the membrane surface.

　　For multi-stage systems, each stage should be cleaned separately for maximum effect. If the cleaning solution becomes cloudy or the pH exceeds the recommended range, this cleaning solution should be drained and reconfigured while cleaning other stages. It is best to rinse with reverse osmosis permeate before the system is put back into operation.

Precautions

　　The product should be stored in a ventilated, cool, and dry place. The product has a shelf life of 6 months. Do not mix with other products. When using, operators should wear necessary personal protective equipment. If accidentally in contact with skin, rinse with plenty of water.
